LEBANON TREELINE
Our Story
The idea started with a simple research of the oldest trees in Lebanon, having found no results, I started saving some locations to visit around Lebanon this summer. Then I thought, why not share it and let it have a positive impact?

Having studied Architecture in Beirut, I have seen parts of our heritage being destroyed and leaving their space for new tower blocks and other investments. Today I am hoping to raise enough awareness to save some very important individuals of our nature. Symbols of our culture, our resilience, and our roots.

Some trees have watched us grow, have received the love and the care of our elders, have witnessed tragic events, as well as beautiful days. They can tell us about our ancestors, about their gatherings under their shadows, about their routine in the open, working their lands or expanding towards new urbanizations. Other veteran trees have witnessed natural disasters like earthquakes, wildfires, inundations or drought; and it's all saved on their tree rings!
Needless to add about our emblematic cedars, their state of conservation and their importance to us.

Let’s protect those individuals, they’re a part of us.

Which other trees in your opinion can tell us more about our past?
